Terms and Conditions

The following are the terms and conditions of Mads & Moodle baby feet casting, they set out the conditions on which we do business with you the “customer”. All reference to “goods” refers to official products created and supplied by Mads & Moodle, gift vouchers and services. These terms apply to any goods provided by Mads & Moodle, 29 Astley Road, Thame, Oxfordshire. We reserve the right to supplement or amend the terms and conditions from time to time.
1. Pricing
1.1 Prices for goods are quoted in pounds sterling and are inclusive of Vat. All prices noted on the website’s price list are final.
1.2 We reserve the right to change our prices for goods and postage at any time.
1.3 UK delivery costs for goods are outlined during the payment processing stage.
1.4 Mads & Moodle reserves the right to withhold the goods and / or terminate this agreement if the total price is not received from you in full on time in cleared funds.
2. Terms of Payment and Cancellation
2.1. The total cost is due when you place your order, excluding shoe casts where 50% of the total cost is due on ordering and the further 50% balance is due on completion before delivery.
2.2. We currently accept payment for orders by bank transfer, cheque, cash or most credit / debit cards.
2.3. If you decide to cancel your order after attending your appointment, we are unable to offer a refund, as all items are personalised and not suitable for resale.
2.4. In the event we are unable to provide a cast that meets our high standards, we will contact you to arrange another appointment. If you decide to cancel your order at this stage we will reimburse your payment in full. If for any other reason we are unable to fulfill your order and you therefore decide to cancel the order, we will reimburse any payments you have made in full.
2.5. Once your order has been placed and the casting session appointment has taken place you may not cancel the order. Unless the goods supplied are defective or in unsatisfactory condition.
3. Promotions, Special Offers and Gift Vouchers
3.1. Only one promotional or special offer code can be used per order. We reserve the right to change or withdraw promotions and special offers at any time without notice. Discounts do not apply to Gift vouchers.
3.2. Gift vouchers are valid for 1 year after purchase.
4. Collection and Delivery
4.1. Once the goods are completed Mads & Moodle will arrange a suitable time for you to collect your order. All finished goods will be available for collection for up to 3 months from agreed collection date. We cannot hold items after this time, if the final collection date is exceeded the goods will be disposed of.
4.2. I will not send framed cast goods by courier or any other postal method as the completed works of Art are too fragile.
4.3. Gift Vouchers will be sent out where possible on the same day as the order is placed by Royal Mail First Class post or if selected Royal Mail special delivery.
4.4. Incorrect delivery address details may lead to delays in the delivery of your goods, so before placing your order please ensure that you have included the full delivery address details. Including an accurate postcode of the intended recipient and your daytime telephone number in the event that any delivery problems are encountered. If you give us an incorrect address and the parcel goes missing Mads & Moodle will not be held responsible.
4.5. Where possible Mads & Moodle will rectify any damage encountered to goods during transit.
5. Travel Expenses
5.1. If Mads & Moodle travel to the customer’s home for the casting session appointment a distance that is within 10 miles of Thame carries no charges. If Mads & Moodle agrees to travel a distance further than 10 miles outside of Thame then an additional charge of 80 pence per each additional mile will be charged to the customer, the return journey will also be charged. These additional charges will be agreed with the customer before the appointment.
6. Warranty and Returns
6.1. All goods supplied by Mads & Moodle are guaranteed to be of good workmanship and quality and are equal in all respects to samples provided.
6.2. All goods supplied by Mads & Moodle will be covered for faulty workmanship for a period of 12 months after the agreed collection date.
6.3. If the goods that we have supplied are claimed to be defective, they must be returned to Mads & Moodle within 12 months of your agreed collection date. If we determine that the defect is caused by poor workmanship then we will offer a free repair, replacement or refund. If the defect or damage has not been caused by us, no replacement or refund will be given but we may be able to offer a repair for which additional charges may apply. We are not able to offer refunds on goods if you change your mind.
6.4. Please do not return any goods to us until you have contacted us by telephone or email.
6.5. If you are entitled to a refund, Mads & Moodle will refund your payment via, credit, debit or bank transfer. Under no circumstances will Mads & Moodle offer refunds in cash.
7. Risk and Property
7.1. Ownership, as well as risk of damage to or loss of the goods will be at your own risk at the time of delivery.
7.2. Ownership of original moulds used to produce goods shall remain with Mads & Moodle upon completion of the casting session.
7.3. Images of products on the Mads & Moodle site are for illustrative purposes only; actual goods may differ from such images. All rights to images displayed on the website or used in any promotional materials are owned by Mads & Moodle and cannot be used without prior written permission from Mads & Moodle.
8. GDPR & Your Privacy
8.1. Mads & Moodle is committed to ensuring that your privacy and any personal information you provide when using this website is secure and protected, please see our GDPR privacy policy for more information about storing your personal data.
8.2. Any of your personal information willingly provided to us is used exclusively by Mads & Moodle.
8.3. Mads & Moodle reserves the right to store the personal information you willingly provide for:
a) Our internal record keeping and
b) For providing you with current and future information about our products and services.
c) Delivery of goods.
9. Product Photographs
9.1. We take photographs of most of our work for our portfolio, some of these photographs may be used on our website, social media pages and in promotional material. If you do not wish for your items to be used in this way please inform us either at your casting session appointment or by email to jen@madsandmoodle.co.uk.
